Obituary for Marion Anderson

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Marion Elizabeth Anderson, age 91, wife of the late Willis Anderson, which occurred peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Sussex Health Center. She was born on August 5, 1928 in Sussex Corner, a daughter of the late Herbert and Hazel (Spencer) Bell.

Marion will live on in the hearts of her daughter, Joanne (Huestis) Floyd and her husband Gordon of Wards Creek; her son, Charles Anderson and his wife Roben of Wards Creek; her grandchildren: Mark Anderson and his wife Marjorie of Wards Creek, Bethany Sutton and her husband Larry of Petitcodiac, Naomi MacKay and her husband Jordan of Wards Creek, Sally Keddy and her husband Gary of Springfield, Sandra Huestis of Fredericton; her great-grandchildren: Iain Anderson, Collin Sutton, Charles Sutton, Larah Sutton, Cooper Sutton and Sarah Keddy; her brothers, Jack Bell of St. Thomas, ON, Allyn (Sylvia) Bell of Belleisle Creek, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her son Beverly, her grandson, Ronald Huestis and sister-in-law Joyce Bell.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A service celebrating Marion’s life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:00pm. Interment will be held in Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner.
